Blueprint – Crystal Composition

A square resin composition from the “Gifts of the Earth” series, featuring rock crystal, lapis lazuli, amethyst, and gold leaf in intense shades of blue and gold. The title “Blueprint” references technical blueprints, which were traditionally printed in shades of blue.
The composition employs a diagonal color gradient from deep blue through violet to luminous gold. Lapis lazuli – a deep blue metamorphic rock with pyrite inclusions – dominates the color palette. Amethyst, a violet quartz mineral, creates transitions between the blue and gold tones.
An abstract meditation on planning, structure and vision – visualized through the combination of technical title and organic, mineral execution.
