I am an artist through and through. My fascination lies with the world of minerals – I integrate them into abstract compositions that combine their natural beauty with artistic design.
My story
I come from Greece and have a deep connection to the sea and nature. Even as a child, I was fascinated by the stones on the Mediterranean beaches, polished by sand and water over centuries. This early love for natural materials continues to shape my art today – every piece carries within it the memory of coastal landscapes and geological processes.
My philosophy
Artwork is art that touches the heart. Each of my works is inspired by my love for the sea, for nature, and my fascination with minerals.
I work with natural crystals and minerals, some of which I collect myself in the Bergisches Land region – rock crystal, quartz, flint, pyromorphite. I combine these with minerals from other geological contexts: rose quartz, amethyst, emerald, amber, citrine.
Each piece is created through meticulous craftsmanship and artistic composition. The minerals are individually positioned, fixed in multi-layered resin pours, and combined using fluid art techniques to create unique color gradients. No two pieces are alike – each composition is unique, embodying the material history of its minerals.
My work combines geological authenticity with contemporary aesthetics. I don't create symbolic illustrations, but rather abstract compositions that impress through their material presence and craftsmanship.
