Flint – Crystal Composition

Flint was formed millions of years ago through biochemical processes in marine sediments. Its characteristic properties – hard, splintery fracture edges – made it the most important tool material of the Stone Age. The material literally carries millions of years of history within its structure.
The composition combines this prehistoric stone with contemporary resin techniques and gold accents to create a work that connects geological depths with modern aesthetics. A dialogue between primeval material and contemporary artistry.
