A large-format resin composition,
in which genuine crystals – amethyst geodes, lapis lazuli, moonstone, and opal – are incorporated as structural elements. On a 120 × 100 cm surface, mineral fragments combine with organic color gradients to create a geologically inspired abstraction.
The technique combines fluid art with genuine mineralogy. Each crystal is positioned by hand and embedded in multi-layered epoxy resin. Gold accents imitate metallic veins found in natural rock formations. The embedded crystals are not synthetic imitations, but authentic minerals with individual structure and coloration.
The high-gloss resin surface creates a reflective depth that reveals new details depending on the light. The artwork is fully cured, UV-protected, and mounted in a custom-made frame. A fusion of contemporary art technique and geological authenticity.
