Agápe – Crystal Composition

A circular resin composition in shades of pink, red, and gold, named after the ancient Greek term for unconditional love. The piece combines rose quartz, rock crystal, moonstone, and gold leaf into a richly colored composition.
Rose quartz – a pinkish quartz mineral – forms the color center of the work and is complemented by transparent rock crystals and shimmering moonstone fragments. The golden accents create light reflections that enliven the entire composition.
The title references ancient Greek philosophy, in which agape was understood as the highest form of love – not romantic, but universal and unconditional. A contemporary translation of this concept into mineral materiality.
